National Awareness Months

January is National Stalking Awareness Month

National Stalking Awareness Month serves as a reminder of the serious nature of stalking behaviors and their impact on victims. Stalking affects millions of people each year and can escalate to more serious crimes. During this month, we focus on education and resources designed to help recognize and respond to stalking situations.

We encourage everyone to learn about the warning signs of stalking, safety planning strategies, and available resources both on campus and in the community for those experiencing stalking behaviors.
