Orange County Public Schools Career and Technical Education (CTE) students from Evans High School participated in a site visit to Beep headquarters in Lake Nona as part of a NAF STEM initiative. During the visit, students became the first in the world to tour and explore a new autonomous vehicle scheduled for launch.
Students engaged with Beep leadership and technical staff, including one of the vehicle’s engineers from Germany, co-founder Mark Reid, and several directors and team members. These professionals shared insights into their career paths, roles within the company, and emerging job opportunities in the rapidly evolving autonomous technology sector.
The visit provided a meaningful work-based learning experience, encouraging active dialogue and allowing students to connect classroom concepts with real-world applications.
“We were delighted to have the Evans High School community at the Beep Headquarters. We are committed to inspiring and educating those within our community to create the awareness necessary to continue growing Central Florida’s technology-based jobs. We are building the workforce of the future today by creating and defining roles that never existed. By having the students see the potential of what the future holds, it creates the curiosity required to get into this field.”
